Stress Relief Made Simple

Month 6: Eric Hollander

Welcome to month 6 of Stress Relief Made Simple!

This month, Dr. Eric Hollander, MD is our expert interview in the area of psychiatry. My conversation with Eric focused on his vast experience and research with anxiety disorders.

Eric is currently clinical professor of psychiatry and behavioral science and the director of the Compulsive Impulsive and Autism Spectrum Disorders Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Prior to that, Eric was the chair of psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Among his many accomplishments, Eric was listed in New York Magazine’s list of best doctors and best doctors in America.

He is a reviewer for eight leading medical journals. In addition to publishing more than 500 scientific reports in the psychiatric field, Eric has edited 19 books.

Eric reveals that while regular anxiety is experienced by everyone on occasion, anxiety disorders consume much of one's time, are associated with significant distress, and interfere with one's functioning..
